If there’s something we will anticipate from the Wes Anderson Cinematic Universe, it’s that the whole lot will probably be lovely. Famously devoted to aesthetics, no element is simply too small for the director. For his newest movie, The Phoenician Scheme (which premiered yesterday on the 2025 Cannes Movie Pageant), Anderson tapped Cartier to vogue one of the recurring props: a rosary.

Anderson’s twelfth directorial enterprise follows a rich, embattled businessman, Zsa-zsa Korta (Benicio del Toro), who designates his solely daughter, Liesl (Mia Threapleton), because the inheritor to his property. Liesl, a nun, is nearly at all times pictured with the rosary wrapped round her hand.
